Rosie, we moved on from tea as soon as I got back from the taxi run. Oh and my computer crashed an hour ago and I think it is all down to this nonsense.

I know Rosie, but you have to understand that what makes sense to a Ragdoll, is totally illogical to a PC. The words 'cannot compute' spring to mind, which in turn (for some unexplained reason) conjure up an image of a whirling robort repeating, manicly, "Warning, Will Robinson".

On that note, I think I shall go to bed. Good night all.

Gillian McKeith went, but she's promised to come back for the final to sing 'Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me' by the Pussycat Dolls. Surprise

It hurts to even type it... Say No More !

Cool! We decided to be surprised with #2. I have 2: B 6 last week (which is part of why I was absent from DAFT much of the week), G 4 going on 42. So, when is the bundle of joy due to arrive?

Yes, Hazel, Keanu Reeves and I share that day. Alas, it is not our Very Small Monster with the birthday the day before, but her sister. VSM's special day is a week earlier.

Could be any time... Surprise

I missed DAFT being solved during the first dash to hospital last week. It has been mostly quiet since then, though the little one has threatened to make an appearance on a couple of nights!

In theory it is due on the 9th June, but my atheist colleague is actually praying for it to be on 6/6/6... Sad However I'd be surprised if we last that long without my wife popping! Smile

Had a bit of a surreal moment on the train this morning... apologies in advance. Embarassed

To the tune of Bohemian Rhapsody...

Kelly ooo,
Didn't mean to make this pie -
And when you're back again this time tomorrow -
Daddy says, daddy says, that he didn't really feed 'em.

Too late, the thyme has come,
Sends shivers down my spine -
Only rosemary this time,
Bon appetit everybody - I've got to know -
Gotta taste this pie and finally face the truth-
Kelly ooo - (any way the frog croaks)
I want froggy pie,
They sometimes wish they'd never been spawn at all.

I try hard not to let my colleagues know that I am puzzling when I should be working. It kinda gives the game away, if I am on the floor, doing an impression of the dying fly, with tears of laughter running down my face.

Si, I think you may have just got me the sack, but what a way to go.

We have a teammate wo has been dozing through DAFT due to his newborn's nighttime schedule. His little one arrived jsut before the rest of us finished SG's puzzles.
It has been mostly quiet since then, though the little one has threatened to make an appearance on a couple of nights! Mine were both reasonable about their arivals. My son was comfortable and didn't want to leave, so he was a scheduled induction and my daughter came right on schedule with no false alarms.
In theory it is due on the 9th June, but my atheist colleague is actually praying for it to be on 6/6/6... Sad However I'd be surprised if we last that long without my wife popping! Smile LOL on the 6-6-6. My son's soccer coach is in the same predicament. Baby due next week, but it's #4 and the Dr. said two weeks ago she wouldn't lst till the due date. But then she's having a boy; her daughters both came early, but her other son was 2 weeks late so it may be a while. Anyway, if you aren't around when we finally locate the chin'r'tal en i bal and finish we will know why.
