Am I correct in assuming that the Labyrinth is not linear. You know, progressing from one puzzle to another until you reach the end. Is it possible to submit a correct answer and procede to the next puzzle?; later to find out that you need to return to submit a "better" correct answer, or something like that???? Some conceptual information is needed for me to continue.

You have summed it up correctly, in some areas there may be more than two "correct answers", but if you only select "the correct" answer, you miss out on some other good puzzles.
