Because you made a nuisance of yourself!

Why not actually try solving a puzzle instead of just sending out zillions of pms within seconds of reaching it... do you think people don't talk to each other... or compare notes Wink

PS: Keeping making a nuisance of yourself on my forums and I'll remove your ability to use them too!

Now you've made all the people who thought I was pleasant and patient realise just what a mercenary I really am!

im sorry.. i wont PM people until i am absolutely unsure. i'll only ask for help if i have an idea of what to do..

im sorry

i really just have OCD, im not a nuisance  and i love this game.i just wish that i knew how people understand what to do without hints in advance.

P.S. im not being sarcastic when i say this: i am not good at posting on forums.

and i have a tendency to send the same message to more than one person because when i see that one has been read by that person, and an hour later its not answered (especially if the person is already done with the entire riddle) i send it to people online.....

.i know people have lives...because i haveeee alot in my life...work, college. girlfriend, SPORTS, volunteering. etc
people ask for help and i cant help them back...
people helping me from forums ask me to PM their work so they can help, BUT i cant

sorry for such a long thing
i wish only you could see this, so its not a waste of time for others..

You hinted directly to the answer, not the method... presumably, because you don't actually know the method!

I don't always know what to do in advance. I do have a repertoire of things that I would try (braille, morse, roman numerals, simple sub, play in MSPaint, etc...) That list has grown through my blood, sweat and tears, and from some exasperated pleas for help on the forum. Point here is that you won't ever develop that list or that skill set without laboring over the puzzles and progressing on your learning curve.

As do we all. Puzzles for me are an escape. But, I enjoy the 'working it out' portion of the puzzle. I guess it depends on what you come here to do. If you are running a marathon, trying to get through all the places as fast as you can, I don't think you are at the right place. It's like shoving a whole candy bar in your mouth - you don't really get to savor it. I enjoy being stuck at a puzzle and laboring over the process, considering all the options for why information is presented in the way that it is. The forums provide a useful...well...forum for perhaps getting that one piece of information that connects you to the solution path. The key here is that the puzzle experience is intended to be a challenge. If you can't solve something right away, there is no shame in setting it aside, and pondering it whilst you are at work, college, playing sports or volunteering. I don't recommend thinking about puzzles when you are with your girlfriend.
