So... why did you pick your username?

This is how I got my username. Many moons ago, I wrote a story. In this story I wrote about a world that was hidden within our own world, which was called Valderra.
I invented the name Valderra for the story, and when I discovered message boards and registered, I chose 'Valderra' as my username. Very Happy

When I started puzzling I was still at Durham university. It's a collegiate university and the colleges are very competitive, so I called myself what I am - a "Hatfielder", through and through.

Did you use Andy's house of messed up words to anagram it?

Before I became a college composition teacher, I wanted to be a musician. Then I realized that I liked to eat, and sleep under a roof, so I cleverly rethought my plans Laughing

It is very dark here. You have been eaten by a grue Sad

Um... mine is a common nickname in school, and 89's the year of my birth...

For the record, my last name isn't goetzy, It's just Goetz... Smile

Now I'm shocked. From your skill and success, I had just assumed you were a few years older.

A long lost friend's name for me...I have straight dark hair, hazel eyes, (which are now green most of the time...odd eh?) and a wickly contagious laugh.
